I closed on a house in the Chicago suburbs a week before the country went into Covid-19 lockdown in March 2020. I was living in CT at the time and had hired Jeff and his Closet Furnishings team to convert a bonus room into a walk-in Closet. With our ability to actually relocate getting delayed due to Covid, I had to trust Jeff to complete this work without me being physically present. From the creation of the initial quote to the completion of the work, everything was professionally done ... transparency on price, regular proactive updates with pictures, issues / delays brought to my attention quickly and also resolved in a timely manner once we agreed on a path forward. Jeff was recommended by our contractor and we could not be happier. The master closet in our new condo was a nightmare, in that it was two sides of a small walk-through to the master bath. The previous owner had designed it in such a way (I supposed to maximize hanging space) that had boxes and hanging rods going in a dozen different directions. It was chaos and closet-phobia. I wish I weren't limited to four photos with this review because the difference is truly amazing. Before Jeff's redesign, it was a "walk of shame" through this open closet space to the master bath. I really could not imagine anyone being able to give me something organized, attractive, but with enough room for my clothes, shoes, hats and other items that I've been used to storing in a previous large walk-in closet. After tearing out the rabbit warren of a closet that exited, Jeff was able to create a clean, simple solution that accommodated all of my needs. Best of all, it had breathing room and a simple way to create privacy for my personal things when I wanted to allow guests to use the master bath ... something not possible with the previous closet arrangement. He is a joy to work with because he actually LISTENS! Unlike so many, he is a true collaborator.
